Water Proofing

No one likes coming down to their basement and finding water pooling in an area and damaging your belongings. It can become a real inconvenience.

Water could be coming from many different places in the basement, walls, cracks on the wall or floor, or seams where the floor and wall meet.

Homes often have an external footer installed when the house is built, but over time it can break or clog causing water to come where we don’t want it.

Waterproofing comes in many different forms from interior waterproofing in the basement to external waterproofing around the outside of the home to spot repairs if its just a small area. Our professional team comes in and determines the best solution to keep water out of your home.

The most common waterproofing consists of cutting around the perimeter of your basement interior, installing perforated pipe and gravel. Holes will be drilled on the wall allowing water to flow down into the pipe with a panel across the wall sealing it so water can’t go anywhere else besides the pipe. After that a sump basin and pump is installed to safely pump the water out of the basement to keep it dry.
